Wasting your time. First of all you're a third party and they are not legally required to deal with you and in fact the DPA prevents them discussing it with you without the subject's consent.

Secondly without a crime number for a reported case of fraud they'll take no notice. How many times do you think they've heard the "it wasn't me" excuse?
