4L capacity cast iron casserole dish , half price at £20. I only saw cream but there may be other colours. A similar 5L one in M&S is £55 & a smaller, 3L one in Sainsbury is £35.

The cast iron skillet is also half price at £12.

Lots of baking sheets, roasting pans and cake tins half price. There are 2 ranges

    1) the heavy-duty, non-stick that is, supposedly, used in the Waitrose kitchens.
    e.g. -large roasting tin, £8.

That was the only price I saw but it's quite a large range of cook and bakeware which include loose bottom flan tins, round and rectangular; various sized cake tins; roasting pans; baking sheets; brownie tins etc.

    2) the other is hard anodised aluminium e.g.-

large roasting pan with trivet, £20
    large baking tray, £9
    small baking tray, £6

Both ranges come with a 20 year guarantee.

450g box of Scottish shortbread varieties (8 varieties, 29 biscuits mostly plain but some choc chip or choc coated) are £2 but if you have these as a PYO, you get an extra 20% off so £1.60 a box!

NB Online the boxes shown are the usual ones and are listed as all-butter shortbread but instore they're decorated with their Christmas theme and classed as Scottish shortbread
BBD on mine is 30th July 2018

Think offer is until 22nd November
  • they had a load of bags of teas from the Rare Tea company in my local yesterday so it looks to be a national clearance line. 99p a bag they were. Would have bought some but I'm not really into loose tea.

Interesting, I wonder what the difference is between that and my Le Creuset equivalent at £200.

Even I have to admit that Le Creuset prices over the past year or so have become utterly ludicrous.

Waitrose are selling off Christmas stuff at 75% off - cards, wrapping, tags plus various Christmas food items such as biscuits, pigs in blankets and chocs.

They also seem to be introducing another half price event.

All good, although I am not sure how much more Christmas food I can take....

the 450g boxes of Scottish shortbread with the Christmas packaging are now down to 79p - and if they're one of your PYO picks, you still get the 20% off.

DD bought me a miniature Christmas tree from Little Waitrose in JL yesterday for 50p. They're still £5 in our local 'big' Waitrose. Why??
