Expat transfer out of SIPP

I live in Italy and I have a 30k Alliance Trust SIPP that has not grown very much owing to some poor investments (Even Woodford can make mistakes). Alliance have recently added a special charge for expats of £375+VAT that cuts down growth even more.
I want to transfer out to another either to a SIPP or a managed pension fund. I am tempted to transfer to Youinvest and buy something like Vanguard LS.
I wonder if anybody has a better idea?

Seems reasonable, though you might find that some places won't want you as a customer because you aren't in the UK.
