Virgin is just about one of the worst options out there on the retail market. So, anything is likely to be better.
Pensionbee has its investment models and it is no better or worse than any other investment model. As a self directed option, it is neither DIY or advised. So, as long as you dont want the cheapest or dont need advice, it does exactly what it says it does.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Hi Phil & Michelle,

On behalf of PensionBee“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of PensionBee. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Can I ask a genuine question, and this is not inflammatory.
How are pension Bee allowed to post on here, and not the local IFA?
Does this not somehow remove the 'unbiased' stance of money saving expert?
A genuine question, no offense intended.0 -

Local IFAs are allowed to post on here. Dunstonh is one. Happy Harry is another. As they don't disclose who they work for (at least not publicly) and post in a personal capacity they don't have an "official rep" signature or username. But nothing stops them posting.
The reason local IFAs don't post in an "official capacity" is you're not allowed to tout for business. (And it would be a very poor way of trying to get business anyway.) If I understand correctly PensionBee are fine as long as they stick to answering users' questions and don't try to get people to sign up.0
