Don't worry it's not a scam email.

I'm trying to send money (GBP £100) to someone in Morocco, how does Western Union work? Do I pay online and money is available next day for receiver in Morocco? Do I give Western Union the receiver name and they show ID in Morocco?

Also it only gives me option of Morocco currency or GBP - the receiver wants it in Euros, can they elect to change the receiving currency in Morocco after me sending it in GBP?

when i recived money in spain thru western union i needed to show my passport and give my name

my mum paid the money at the travel agents and i collected, not sure about it online

There's a similar service called Moneygram available at all Post Offices and a lot of other places. Fee level about the same.

You pay the money over the counter, get a refernce number which you tell the recipient and they can pick it up a few hours later at a local Moneygram location.

AFAIK they would have to change it for euros themselves.
