    Afternoon everyone.

Just back from visiting DM. She's much brighter though still weak and tired she's much brighter and has a good colour on her again. I took her some more sandwiches and some fruit, a flask of tea and another book. The staff are really caring and helpful which reassures me a lot.

The staff nurse (a lovely young man with astonishingly curly hair) told me that DM won't be coming home before Thursday so I'll be going back up the road tomorrow. It's the first week of teaching for uni and I've got classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, DM insist I go and I'm happy that she's in no danger and being sorted out. She's in a single room and like a pig in muck! She's so pleased that her slim ankles have reappeared. :rotfl:

On a lighter note the dinosaur exhibition the the park is driving everyone slightly mad - loud roaring all day. The 'animals' are huge with moving heads and opening / closing mouths. All very scary if you're aged five!

I'll catch up with reading after my tea. Thanks for all the good wishes folks.
  • No problem Dumpling:D I'm all sorted now. I didn't get time to read earlier. I hope the girls have had a better day and that you are managing some time for you.

    Judi just GRRR.

Gers glad to hear your mother is perking up. Single room? They must think she's royalty:D

I got sick of waiting to hear about the diving. Binned it. We went bouldering again instead, and now we are going out for dinner. Looking forward to my protein fest at my favourite Italian.

DH still planning to cook tomorrow night as well:eek: He's a very good cook, just takes forever. I've managed to talk him out of a starter. Steak main course, and tiramisu dessert. Hopefully we'll eat before midnight:rotfl:

My evening hasnt got any better... Youngest has spent £300 on a gaming console. Grump wasnt very pleased as he has tried to help him pay his insurance by telling him he doesnt have to pay board for 12 months.... As i told him, well he might as well blame himself as Youngest has got as much money now as he did before his accident.
