Your cousin now needs to go to the employer and tell them that the pension provider has said that the employer hasnt made all their contributions and ask them when do they expect to do this.

Employers have rules on how long they have to pay into the pension and based on the date you started this thread, they are past that point.

Has your cousin sought assistance from TPAS?
  • seems like a stalemate, his employer is adamant that all the payments are upto date and Now Pensions saying not. So they said they will send out a IDRP form, what is this please ? TPAS told him to contact the Employer he did , he has also informed the Regulator, What if anything can the Ombudsman do ?
  • Now pensions have said they will give an answer to the complaint by March 10th. If it isn't resolved what is the best way forward with this. They really are a nightmare

TPAS won't normally intervene until the employer and/or trustees and/or scheme have had an opportunity to resolve matters, but should now be well placed to help if the 'answer' on 10 March doesn't sort things out.
