Hi,
First of all check if your PC will display up to 1440 x 900 as that is the optimum resolution for a 19” widescreen. If you choose a lower resolution it can get blurry.
Personally I don’t like widescreen monitors as they are smaller than the equivalent standard monitors.
For example 19” Standard is 12” x 15” = 180 sq inches.
19” WS is 10”x16” = 160 sq inches. I.E.20 sq inches less screen (approx)
Look for a good response time. The lower the better.
Check for 3 years onsite warranty.
The monitor that you indicate in PC World is WS but OK if you like them. The HxWxD dimensions shown on the site bear no relation to the monitor but are probably the size of the box it comes in.
Shop around. I could get the equivalent monitor for about £106.0 -
Staples have a 19" for £99 i think.0

lidl have one for 149.99 with 3 yrs warranty
