Tivo Repairs/Upgrades in Belfast area

Anyone had any Tivo work done sucessfully in or around Belfast, looking for a new larger hard drive to be put in and swap over settings from existing drive.

I really should be able to do this myself but dont want to risk another one of those "why have I got these extra bits left over" moments.

Wow - another TiVo user, I thought we'd all died out

I considered upgrading the HDD in mine as it was having sound dropouts (turned out to be my $ky box), but you could always buy mail order from the likes of http://www.tivoheaven.co.uk/, I think he sells on ebay, and gets good ratings.

Was hopin to find somewhere local only because of the current postal situation, TivoHeaven could certainly do what I need and his posts are very helpful on the Uk section of the Tivocommunity website but it gets really expensive to use anyone other than Royal Mail when sending drives back and forth - plus off work this week so could run around a bit.


Have Sky+ in the other room but the Tivo still rules.

I had my Tivo successfully upgraded by Kesh Electrics in Fermanagh. They are design engineers for PACE too. Amazing what you can find in sleepy Fermanagh. Why they stopped TiVo in the UK I will never know. Sky + users are amazed by its versatility.
