Working time directive for part time work

    I did think the same thing but the gap in between Friday evening and Saturday I wasn't sure if that was allowed. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

    Those shift would break WTR if not an excluded sector.

    10.—(1) An adult worker is entitled to a rest period of not less than eleven consecutive hours in each 24-hour period during which he works for his employer.

    Regulation 10 of the Working Time Regulations 1998 states as follows:

    So that's OK then, in the 24 hours starting at 17:00 on Friday she works for 12 hours, and therefore has 12 hours rest.
