My husband has his pension in the PPF and he is 55 can he get his money out now? His company went bust years ago and his pension was put into the PPF fund. He has £46000 sitting in it and wants to withdraw some?

If it's in the PPF there is no pot of money. He will receive a guaranteed income when he reached the scheme pension age.
  • Unfortunately your husband will have to wait until the original retirement age of the pension scheme. This is likely to be 60 or 65. He may be able to access money early in extreme cases but it will depend on the original scheme. The pension protection fund should be able to clarify this for you.
