Reference validity period?

Hi,
Need some advise please. I'm applying for jobs and on one of the app form it ask for reference validity period. I'm not sure what date to put on the valid to period. I was recently been made redundant so valid from I.e august 2017 to ?? One of the reference will be HR and the other one is personal.
