Hepatitis A Vaccination? Shortage of Vaccine?

Son is off to Thailand in 3 weeks time and went to get his Hep A booster today - only to find they're in very short supply and no chemist has it. :eek:

Anyone any (legal!) source for it? He'll be trying the travel clinics and private clinics tomorrow however has anyone had any success recently?

Depends were you are, there is one in Belfast, one on newtownards road in east Belfast and others I would imagine

Same back in early summer when my daughter was travelling, the chemist offered her a vaccine with mix of Hep A and B and the GP was happy to fulfil prescription for this.

Spot on. I dont think he has any issue driving to one - hes in Belfast though. Hes ringing round this morning. Cheers
