Ppi on car loan

Hi, hope someone can advise. I got a car 10 years ago at a Richard hardier garage and was told I needed to have ppi otherwise I'd not get the loan. Forward to today, no paperwork or name of lender so where do I start to get my ppi back?
Thanks in advance

You might be out of luck to claim, you will need to search if you are out of time.

So no paperwork, what about the entry on the bank statements, does that give a clue ?
