Tricky... I never really know what to buy for my hubby. Last year I bought bizarro magazine, a wooden mini puzzle, some chocolate and a scratch card.

    Last years for DH included,

    Smellies
    Chocs
    Pens
    Tie
    Socks
    Undies
    Mini puzzle
    Mini booze
    Cufflinks
Travel shoe shine kit (he's away alot on business so this is very handy)
    Business card holder
    Keyring
    Bottle opener

Most of the bits were picked up throughout the year or freebies - the shoeshine kit was reduced to 49p in tesco.

Hope that's given you some ideas

i enjoy doing my Ohs stocking more than i enjoy shopping for his main gift.

i normally include lots of smellies, his favourite sweeties, socks, alcohol miniatures and whatever fun delights i've stumbled across during the year

  • For our first Christmas together I asked OH what he wanted and I got a big long list of items, mostly things he wouldn't want, including gold chain, xbox games, a cat, plasma tv, boxers, a car etc etc etc. I went on a hunt and got something reasonable and mini versions of things on the list (car shaped lighter and stuff). For the rest, I bought a bag of snack sized chocolate bars and went through the Argos book cutting out as many pictures of items on the list as I could and stuck each one to a bar of chocolate and put them all in a stocking! He thought I was completely mental but it gave us a laugh.
Needless to say the "plasma tv" didn't get eaten until we were actually in a position to go out and buy one!
