I sent my SOA request on 24 August, received the list of loans one week later and sent the full version of complaint on 1st September. On week 4 I received an email similar to yours that they need more time to investigate. I don't expect any reply from Wonga before week 7 at earliest. You can read other people progress with Wonga in particular on debt-camel . co. uk website under payday-loan-refunds heading.0

Indeed they do.
Wait until 8 weeks, escalate to the FOS, then wait.
It can take months to get a final resolution, but it will happen.

I received an offer from Wonga today, my complaint is 7 weeks old tomorrow (sent 15th August)
Have accepted their offer so its just a matter of waiting for the payout now.
Would probably get a little more if I took it to the FOS but the timescale for them is months and, at the end of the day, Wonga's offer is reasonable enough for me0 -

If you're not happy with the response, escalate the case to the FOS. It's your right to do so, you may as well. They may uphold the rejection, but they may not.

I'm aware you can claim for unfair interest charges for wonga payday loans.
Please can your advise how, I had a few in 2013/14, and is it worth the hassle?
Also, is it correct you can request them to remove the detail from your credit reports also?
