Starting up own business?

Options
Hi All,

So I recently left my toxic job (thank the heavens!!!) howver while I currently search for a new job I thought it would also be the perfect opportunity to start looking into starting up my own business. It's all I've ever wanted to do and with me currently taking my degree in Business management I have most of the basic knowledge on how to start a business.

I was hoping to start a bookkeeping business up with my mum. Mum is qualified but has no experience = can't get a job in her desired field. I, however, have no qualifications in accounts/bookkeeping, but have over 3+ years experience in accounts and bookkeeping (I kind of fell into my job). I have seen a number of people online say that you need qualifications to be registered. Am I allowed to offer my services without a qualification? If not would my mum be able to step in and use hers?

Thanks in advanced.
