The cost of active management of my SIPP

Looking back, I feel that my IFA probably saw opportunity (and pound signs) based on my choice of words. Being given an alternative idea (at lower cost) would have been nice. Anyway, if what I have proves expensive but it works, then fine. Appreciate your and others input here very much.0

How do you define "works". Do you have a target return in mind? Do you have an idea of
the return of your pension fund after fees? Without those numbers it's impossible to assess the performance of your pension investments to see if you are getting value for money.
You seem to have a feeling that you might be paying "too much", but don't have the information required to assess that. You are paralyzed by lack of knowledge and have given too much power to your IFA. You need to take control of your money and your IFA and make sure you get a good deal.“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”0
