Freeview Boxes under £18 - Can you beat it?

What's this all about?
Freeview is the set top box that relies on a normal aeriel to give you digital TV and access to get 30 more TV and 20 radio channels. Prices have plummeted so for a one-off £20 you can now get it much cheaper than joining a monthly subscription package (to cut the cost of that see the Digital TV Cost Cutting article)
Do I need it?
The government is starting to switch off old-style terrestrial signals over the next few years, beginning on October 17, meaning eventually everyone will need some sort of digital tv decoder in order to watch the box - check out when yours will be switched off here: Digital UK
Freeview is the cheapest way to get onto the digital TV ladder, but for now you'll also need to check whether you can get the signal. Use the official site: Freeview. Yet that's not fool-proof, ask nearby neighbours for their experiences, or if possible borrow someone's Freeview box to try.
The cheapest boxes
At the moment, you can pick up plenty of boxes for under £20. If you see any even cheaper, please reply below and let us know; we'll add them into this top post.
- £17.99 Argos: The Digihome DSTB5000 is available from Argos, to reserve one to collect from a nearby store.
- £17.99 Currys: The Techwood TWDFV2 is also £19.99, and available to reserve and collect instore at Currys. If you chose to get it delivered though it's a huge £6.99
- £19.99 Amazon: The Digihome DVB915 is £19.99 at Amazon, and qualifies for free delivery as it is over £15.
- £24.92 PC World: If you'd like a more well-known brand, PC World's selling a Phillips DTRID200 for £19.99. However, there is no collection option, so delivery cost £4.95 on top.
IF YOU FIND A CHEAPER BOX THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED ABOVE PLEASE REPORT IT IN THE THREAD BELOW
