Grubby glass roasting dish

How can I clean my glass roasting dish? I always soak it after using but it's getting greasy spots on it. I've tried soaking, using a cream cleaner, salt, good old scrubbing but I can't seem to shift it.
Any ideas?

I always use one of those stainless steel/metal ball scrubber thingys (I have a way with words :D). They are fantastic for getting things clean.
Try one and be impressed :T

Edited to add: give it a soak in hot soapy water first, and it will come up as good as new.
  • I use one of those spontex metal scrubber thingies on my pyrex dish they're fab, I put astonish paste on stubborn spots as well
  • Steel scourer, very hot water and washing up liquid.

Metal scourer it is then haha. Thanks everyone. I had considered them but thought they'd scratch the glass.....

  • Mister Muscle oven cleaner - but make sure you wash it again 'normally' before you put any food in it.

100% use barkeepers friend. It's the only thing I've found that works, and it's really quick to work too.

oddly they don't. they're also brilliant for getting sticky labels off jars you want to re-use if making jams etc. I give a couple to family/friends every year for crimble (i'm soooo generous) so their jars can come to me label gunk free :D
