Orange Box (5 Great PC Games for approx £26.00)

Most of you who have a PC/Steam Account should already know of this.

For those that don't and enjoy PC games this is a must;

A great bargain if you are yet to enjoy Half Life 2! (review here) With the added bonus of Episode 1 and 2 (when released later this month)

Also in the package is TeamFortress2 which along with Portal (which again will be released this month) is a bundle that cannot be missed imho

All for around £26.00 (including the TAX) - oh and free delivery too ;)

    This sounds like a real bargain, however: I have a core2 6300 system with 1gb of ram and the built in graphics card. Do I have any hope of running these games?

    No not really need to change your gpu.
  • Just to make it clear - you have to download all of the games, and if you are on a limited amount per month this is likely to certainly go over 2gb...

    Other option is per order with amazon, £25 there and no downloading issues.

    The bonus thing with the preorder form steam however is that you can play most of the games now.

    Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 have been available to play for around a month now form this deal, also Team Fortress 2 is still in beta, although it's actually the full games and has been available to play for a while too.

    You can pre-download the games before release, so you can play them (usually) form midnight on the release day. The US release day is 10th Oct, with is a week and a half earlier than the UK release of 19th of Oct too, so a nice week and half early playing time of Portal and Episode 2, plus Team Fortress now instead of in another two weeks!

    Also, if you already have Half-life 2 or Episode 1, then you will be given a searial key gift on your Steam account that you cn send to any of your firends so they can play the full game for free!

    Oh, and the OP forgot to mention that you also get Peggle Extreme free aswell, which is a slightly Half-Life-esuqe 10 level version of the original Peggle, which imo is a great overly addictive game, and convinced me to buy the full one for £5!
    Captured so far - Over £1000!! :D Thanks MSE!
