Hi all,
Hope this is the right place to post, Tesco are doing Allen Carr's Easyway to stop smoking seminar for £2.50 in clubcard vouchers. I stopped 4.5 years ago using his book (Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop smoking) and it was fairly simple (after 20 years on 20 a day). Link here
Those interested in the book I used can find it here
I have no connection to the company, but I'm very grateful to them!
HTH,
Mike

I strongly recommend this. I used the book and gave up 8 years ago.
Although I had tried to give up for years, doing it this way was easy!To infinity and beyond!0 -
Its not £2.50 in clubcard vouchers .The cost is £220 so its £55 in vouchers.
Still a good deal though.Never pay more than you have too0 -
40 a day smoker, read the book, never had a fag since, and that's 17 years ago. If you want to give up , and there are few greater ways of money saving than giving up the fags, then this is the book for you.
Cheers

I've never been to a seminar of his but this guy ROCKS! I read this book in one day nearly 7 years ago, and never smoked again after 10 years of 20 a day.
He takes away all the brainwashing that fags do to you - if the seminars are anything like his Easy Way book it'll be worth every penny.0 -

and smokers are diseased and have mental problems and they should be able to quit because we don't smoke and anyway what's this smoking business about and how dare they smoke and why should they be entitled to treatment on the NHS etc. etc. etc. etc.......
Sorry about the rant, but anyways, it's a great deal!
Can I add a bit here too....
Any of you trying to quit /wanting to quit /thinking of quitting please please please come join us in the MSE giving up smoking thread....

Three months, one week, 15 hours, 10 minutes and 43 seconds. 1992 cigarettes not smoked, saving £457.31. Life saved: 6 days, 22 hours, 0 minutes. The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Some help please.
I want to give up smoking and use the Allen Carr clinics as they are supposed to have a good hit rate. Have tried his book and it is having some effect but want to give the clininc a go. However, the cost of a session os £220!!! - a lot of money.
Howver, you can get it cheaper if you use the tesco clubcard deals.
http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=514&bci=4294966157|Allen%20Carr`s%20Easyway,
Basically, i think, you for every £2.50 in vouchers you get a £10 credit. Does this mean i can buy £50 worth of vouchers of ebay that will give me the requisite level of points? Also, are clubcard points transferable?
Thanks in advance for any help!!0 -

Probably best to ask this on one of the Tesco threads.
I'd love to go to one of these to see it even though I don't need it!To infinity and beyond!0
