Legal help re.title deeds

I'm not sure if I need a lawyer re title deeds etc. My husband passed away and my daughter now stays with me. Our house is completely paid and the title deeds are in my name.
We are thinking of adding a small extension for her and she will pay for it as I am a pensioner.
She will get the money she has invested when I die and my two other children are completely happy with this however if I die or if I go into care would she have to sell her home to pay for my care.
Would it make any difference if she took out a mortgage on the house or a loan.
It's quite complex and we're not sure if we should ask a lawyer to help.
Any advice would be appreciated as I've gone to my bank and although they would be happy to give a loan or a mortgage they couldn't advise re best way forward
kind regards Margaret

Are you planning on creating two separate properties, with two separate entrances? If she wants to take out a mortgage you will have to completely separate the properties, including dividing the deeds and registering the two separate propertiesChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Many thanks for your speedy reply.
It's merely a bedroom for my daughter that we would be building with an entry into the house. It will still be shared bathroom, kitchen etc.0
