I got a 'free' single bed with mattress and slide from MFI for my son, also bought some wardrobes from MFI for our room and got a few hundered pounds off the price with Clubcard vouchers (paid a bit towards them, but wasn't 'hardcore' in those days :o ).

With my current vouchers I'm planning on going on Holiday next year - abroad with Cosmos (2 Adults, 2 Children and a Baby). Hopefully the whole bill will be paid for with Clubcard Vouchers :D Before I found out I was pregnant I was hoping to get married aboroad next year (obviously paid for my Clubcard ;) )

Me and my OH went on a rally day this year, was absolutely brilliant, I loved it soooo much that now I want an evo (keep begging!).
Also had lots of free meals at bella italia, DD had a bedroom furnished last year too.
  • I've used mine at MFI before the offer stopped. Had son's bedroom furniture £900 then daughters bedroom furniture and a double bed for me £2000. Treated myself to a £400 diamond ring from Goldsmiths. Recently just changed some for RAC cover. Now saving for BA air miles.

Have had to eat alot of food and drink alot of wine to get the above though.
    :hello:
  • just come back from a holiday to tennerife 2 adults 5 children
saving towards tobago next october :p
  • I always used to spend mine on my shopping :o, that was until I came here and I will never spend them in store again.

Not as good as some as the other posters but so far this year we've been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Drayton Manor and we are booked to go to the Space Centre in Leicester in the half term hols courtesey of Mr T. These are all days out I would never have been able to have afforded otherwise.
I'm now saving to take my DS to London in the summer holidays next year as he has never been before:o and hope to pay for most if not all of it with clubcard vouchers.

Can't believe what I've missed out on over the years!!:rotfl:

    Bylromarha,
Your story is absolutely fantastic..... and such a great thing to not only get a cracking deal on a holiday but to also help feed homeless people too... I take my hat off to you!

Felt a bit mad at the time, but so worth it.

TBH, I don't think I would have had the guts to do it if it wasn't for the MSE community. :T So thanks all!

There were a few particular people encouraging me to go for it, who then followed my lead and went to Australia or on some other exotic holiday and all around the country homeless shelters were benefitting. One person even organised his local council to have a refridgerated van waiting outside Tesco, which took his food straight to a selection of charities in the area.:D

So if you ever here Tesco threads talking about organic chips and burgers or Birds Eye roast beef in gravy days, you'll know how much many of us benefitted from the offer and why it's in the golden era of us points collectors!

  • I don't think you're at all mad.... more genius in fact!! I do wonder where I'd be without this website and all the fantastic people who post here. Until recently, I'd gladly hand over my vouchers for money off instore and think I was saving some money. Oh how my eyes have now been opened!

Since I have treated the family to a day out at Thorpe Park, Woburn Safari Park and The Deep. (I've only been collecting since Feb this year) My target is now a holiday to Florida.... hopefully for this time next year. Guess I best be making some more wine orders....
  • I took my family to Legoland in August and then in september my and my partner went to Thorpe park for the day and had a really good time! Didn't take the kids to thorpe park they're to young.

I had a £1700 MFI bathroom, a week in Haven in June last year, Christmas at butlins last year and booked again for this year.
I'm currently trying to decide where to spend last quarters cc vouchers :D a couple of things in Goldsmiths have caught my eye including a lovely sparkly diamond ring !
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
