Saw this on VR twitter .... for those who are wondering why they haven't got as many points as others and wonder if they'll ever open vaults, it's probably because others have entered codes before they have been officially released. I haven't entered the two I mentioned above - and won't until I have the official source. Doing so may mean you are not entered in future draws. I'm guessing that's why they have done the 5 out of 7 answers weekly.

Someone posted this too .... which seems odd. Does this mean that potentially, some codes will expire?? As far as I remember isn't Thin Lizzy official? Although it is becoming a bit blurred .... if some official or unofficial codes expire, might we then miss out on points - and the final vaults? Opinions folks?

Let me clarify those codes.

They're legitimate working codes which were created by Emily @ Virgin Red Twitter. There was a thread last night, where THIN LIZZY and GENESIS were created for two users to input and they were put on a small expiry time. Some people who were also reading the thread said they missed the time to input them and another two codes (MY SHARONA and BOWLING FOR SOUP) were created. Those two are legit as well. I would say it's fine to enter them now as they were made on the spot and I very much doubt they'll be codes for the weekly prizes.

It all begs the question though, that certain users are getting codes made for them in a thread -- not even on the Virgin Red Twitter, it was actually Virgin Media's Twitter -- that probably most people wouldn't read. I posted the image of them saying they won't have a way of knowing which ones we legitimately found and which ones we guessed. To me, that opens up a whole can of worms and I'm starting to believe this whole, 'Don't enter guessed codes or you'll miss out on weekly prizes' is just a ruse to stop people posting codes. I dunno, may be looking into it too much.

Then again, just like the El Clasico... it's only a game!

I thought the same thing! But I read earlier on this thread that some official codes are released a few hours early, hence today's being up last night.
