in Cutting tax
I'll be starting my first job after graduation. I'll be earning £15962. How much tax will I be paying? per month? I understand there is tax free allowance per year and I only have work part time so I'm not sure. Really new to this tax system.
Anyone who could help maybe?

http://taxaid.org.uk/guides/information/issues-for-employees/employee/form-p46 (but for 1100L read 1150L for 17-18).
Have you had no other income this tax year?
The standard personal allowance for 2017-18 is £11,500 - if you have no other income, then on only seven months' salary you should not pay any tax in the current tax year.

In order to get the emergency tax code back-dated to the start of the tax year you will need to make declaration A on the Starter Checklist which your new employer should offer as you have no P45. The wording for A is ....
A This is my first job since last 6 April and I have not been receiving taxable Jobseeker’s
Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, taxable Incapacity Benefit,
State or Occupational Pension
If you have an old P45 it would be best not to use it just ask for the Starter Checklist.0
