I'll run a portfolio of my SIPP holdings from the end of September for a bit of fun. Will exclude cash at that point of time. As the holdings are primarily invested long term. I won't reflect any trades or additional cash added to the SIPP. Also will accumulate the dividends and other income as cash. Just to see what happens.

Sounds like fun. YTD my index tracker portfolio is up 11.5%. I expect to be in the middle of the pack if we get enough active portfolios in the sample.

Now is a good time to start. As the Central Bank influences on the markets are finally waning. Japan has an election too. Which may result in different policies too. Plenty of uncertainty on the horizon. That's a certainty.

I’ll start a new thread on the Savings and Investments board.

I’m not sure how to keep it tidy. It may be better to have 2 threads.

One for declaration of Portfolios and one for monthly updates with link to declaration thread. As this will be the Great British Invest off all that will be required is end of trading day end of month bottom lines expressed in £.

3rd thread may be in order to discuss the other 2.
