New to all this

I am filling in some forms because I am buying my council house, along with its solar panels.
My meter is a EMILTE, inverter is a AFORE, all in the loft; so I now have to take some details. I can probably figure out what details I need.

But once I go with 'Good Energy' should I be sending them monthly readings, as I haven't had to do this before.
Can I get a meter downstairs, or wi-fi?

I have eight panels, I took a reading on 3/12/2016 which is 01815.1 and todays reading is 03082.4

If you go with Good Energy for FIT it will be slow payment. When I registered with them in May 2014 it took 6 months to make the 1st payment. I now get an E-mail from them and have to submit my reading around the 20th of the month. Next being September, December, March, June. Payment then turns up between 60 to 75 days later in the bank.

No idea about moving the meter. Mine was installed in the garage with the inverter. Much cooler.

After doing some Googling, this is my meter 'Emlite EMA1 Single Phase ASL; which I believe is a GPRS Smart Meter. Which would explain why no one has read the meter. Not sure if this involves a number or password, as the forms don't ask.
I will go with 'Good Energy' for now, buying my house, so I don't want any more issues.

A question which may cause panic - who has been claiming the FiT from install?

Only reason I ask is, if it's not been registered for FiT, then you won't be able to claim.
This is something your solicitor should be advising you on, as part of the house purchase deeds/contract should be a transfer of the current FiT registration to the new owner, you.
You can then elect to take the FiT wherever.

However, I'd be inclined to find out who the current FiT contract is with, as they may pay quicker/offer better customer service.

FYI, I'm with Good Energy, same as Merlin, and they are the slowest of the slow things, all within terms, and customer service is not exactly poor but they aren't the quickest to reply.
Hindsight says I should have gone with one of the quicker payers.

They belong to 'Yorkshire Housing' which seems to be a body set up for general energy efficiency, 'Yorkshire Housing' seem to be just a section of the council.

I believe it is 'Good Energy'; not seen the full paperwork yet.

You are sure they will belong to you when you buy the house?.
Is Yorkshire housing currently getting the FIT payment?.
    When were they fitted?.

Yes, I have been told that I will be getting ownership. I haven't got completion yet, so nothing in writing, next week, hopefully.
They were signed up on Dec 2015, probably fitted soon after.

Curious where you get your figure from as mine were installed May 2014 and I only get 15.16p per Kwh
