Lloyds loans - no credit checks done?

Hi
Just a quick question.
I have had 2 loans with Lloyds, the latest being a couple of months ago and I've noticed that I've not had any credit checks done each time! Is this normal for existing customers?

Do the loans themselves appear on your credit files? The credit, rather than the application affects your credit history far more than the search anyway.
Which CRA did you check? There are 3 remember.
Clearscore, Noddle and the MSE Credit Club cover all 3 and are free.

I have only checked Experian to be fair. I'll sign up for one of the above

Yes, it's normal. They have enough information to make their decision without an external credit check being made.0
