Where should I take my career?

I'm not quite sure where to start but I'm starting to get a little itchy feet with my current job and am thinking of a change but don't know what to do or where to start. I've been working in retail sales for over 10 years more recently in Customer Service for the same company. I'm thinking of a change but to what I don't know. Is there such a thing as a website that you can submit your cv to be assessed and it suggests careers or available jobs in a certain industry depending on your skills? Any other suggestions would also be welcome.

National Careers Service? Or pay to see a professional careers advisor - I was only considering this a very short while ago but I kind of know the path I think I'd go towards and was able to take a 6 month job to prepare.
Maybe look at further education too, even if short courses as that might open up new horizons and being job ready for any new position, as somebody who ended up not through choice having to go higher then customer services, I know I kind of regret not doing an evening class this new year in my 'favourite application' when I've now got to create pivot tables and charts on mass! When you've a Supervisor who wants you to do C before you've even got a hold on A as a lot of jobs are now it's hard and that's before any cultural fit, not getting stuck in some corner.
Envious of your 10 years continuous - don't knock it, the feeling of familiarity priceless.0 -
I went to see a professional independent careers advisor a few years back and found it really helpful, it really highlighted the areas that I was strong in and the ones where I was weak and from that, the type of jobs that would suit me.
It cost a couple of hundred quid, but worth it I think.0 -
You're probably looking for something which assesses your personality and interests and suggests careers based on those results, rather than simply your CV. I just googled "personality tests career choice" and the first result was this - is that the sort of thing you're after?0

Find a company in the fitness industry that needs your skills. However, I think you will want to run your own company soon.0

National Careers Service is a good one because you can do a skills health check.
There's also Prospects who have a career planner quiz, which matches you to roles based on the answers you provide.0
