• Tell us exactly what your ‘Friday Rule’ at teatime is (for example ‘toys at the dinner table’ or ‘eating in fancy dress)

• Upload your ‘Friday Rule’ photo via the entry form on the ‘Win with McCain Crispy French Fries’ competition page.

• Your ‘Friday Rule’ photo must clearly demonstrate:

a) What your child’s ‘Friday Rule’ is
For example if your rule was ‘toys are allowed at the table’, we would expect to see a photo of your child and family at the dinner table, with your child & family playing with the toys at the table during dinner

b) Your child and family in the photograph, at the dinner table, clearly actioning the ‘Friday Rule’
for example, playing with toys at the table or eating in fancy dress at the table

• Every Thursday, a shortlist of entries will be selected by electronic random draw from all valid entries, this means:

- all entry form fields on the competition entry form are completed and legitimate

- accompanying photo in the following format: jpg, jpeg, png or gif format

- photo showing your child and family at the dinner table clearly demonstrating what the Friday rule is correlating with your Friday Rule description

• The shortlisted entries:

a) Will be chosen by electronic random draw and called on Thursdays between 14:00PM – 17:00PM, on the contact number they provided with their entry

b) We will not leave an answer machine message but will call you a maximum of 3 times before moving to the next person on the shortlist

c) If you are contacted, it does not guarantee you will be the prize winner, this is subject to you and your child’s availability as we require both you & your child to be present in order to record you to be broadcast on air, plus your consent to record/be brought to air and our general terms & conditions for broadcast.


• The prize winners will be those persons:

a) With a valid entry who were brought to air as one of our McCain Friday Winners

b) Who were shortlisted and available to record/come to air, with their child, on the Thursday they are contacted, between the hours of 14:00 – 19:00pm*

c) Those persons who were over 18 years and the legal guardian or parent of the child they are accompanying to air


3. DATES

From Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 23:59PM to Thursday 28 September 2017 at 14:00PM.

There will be 4x winners in total across the whole competition, with 1x winner chosen every Thursday from 14:00pm on the following dates:
• Thursday 7 September [from 14:00pm]
• Thursday 14 September [from 14:00pm]
• Thursday 21 September [from 14:00pm]
• Thursday 28 September [from 14:00pm]
Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.

Winner Announcement

The name and the home town of the winner(s) will be announced on-air on CFM, Clyde 1, Forth 1, Free Radio, Key 103, Metro Radio, Northsound 1, Radio Borders, Radio City, TFM, Wave 105 on the following dates and times:
• Friday 8 September [from 15:00 – 16:00pm]
• Friday 15 September [from 15:00 – 16:00pm]
• Friday 22 September [from 15:00 – 16:00pm]
• Friday 29 September [from 15:00 – 16:00pm]

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.

Other entry restrictions are as follows:
• All entries will be moderated before going live on the website. Any entries deemed as inappropriate or that fall outside of the criteria outlined in section 1: ‘The Competition’ and out terms & conditions will not be validated for entry.
• If your entry is selected, both child and parent must be present and available to record/be brought to air. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

5. THE PRIZE

In total there are 4 opportunities to win for the competition duration.
Every week there will be 1x prize as follows:
• Friday 8 September: £1000 of Amazon Vouchers
• Friday 15 September: £1000 of Amazon Vouchers
• Friday 22 September: £1000 of Amazon Vouchers
• Friday 29 September: £1000 of Amazon Vouchers
The prize is provided by Bauer.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
