Contactless refund doesn't work

I spent some money in VC's using chip & pin.
However noticed that an item I bought was overcharged.
Asked for a refund but did it contactless.
Since 31st July still waiting for the refund to go though.
My bank black horse advises me that contactless refunds can't or don't go through back onto your account.
They gave told me to go back to the store, explain and get the refund back through via chip & pin.
Has anyone else experienced this? It's only £3.50 but if if its not working on that amount, where's the money hiding? As I haven't got it

I don't know about Black Horse but I had two refunds (from Maplin and M&S) back to my Optimum pre-paid card made contactlessly last week.0

Were you given a transaction receipt for the refund?
If yes dispute the non-receipt of the refund with the card issuer in writing enclosing a copy of the transaction receipt for the refund.
If no, then why not.0 -
Black Horse is a leading provider of vehicle finance, not a bank. Did you mean Lloyds? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Yes it's the bank with the black horse.
Didn't think we were allowed to state company names directly.
Will go back to store and if they can't help I'll ask for their finance department.
I can understand the refund will go back onto a pre-paid card, but that's not into a bank account, so I don't know why it wouldn't work on a contactless debit card.
Appreciate all your responses0 -
