Those little strings of fairy lights you put round the bed

Any recommendations?

I want something subtle so I was thinking the plain copper wire ones with the tiny LED lights built in, in warm white or maybe pink or purple (I'm in a girly mood, and can always give them to my young niece if I go off them).

There are so many places online doing very similar products, and even though they're only a few quid I will be annoyed with myself if I end up with a poor-quality one. So I thought I'd ask you lovely people!

I picked some up from Primark in the end, £2.50, pink wire with "warm white" lights and (although I only bought them today) so far they are looking good. In case anybody cares!

The ones on ebay are as cheap as they come and perfectly acceptable in terms of quality. The ones which take button batteries have much smaller and neater battery boxes than those which use AA batteries.

Lots of other sellers, including those selling longer strings of lights. If you search on 'LED lights battery operated' you'll get masses of choice, so sort by price - they are all the same item.

I suggest Ebay or Amazon as garden centres and other places like that are often quite expensive. Primark is also good for things like that.

Pound shop do battery operated ones, and i can't tell the difference.
It's easy to hid the battery pack as well as it's quite small. Saves on electric and the battery life is quite long.
