Missing cooler bag from Paul's picnic set

Hi all
So I recently purchased 2 picnics sets from Paul's online for my sister to collect, there were so issues at collection which meant that the store only had one picnic bag to go with the two sets I had paid for.
My sister spoke to the manager who said they would order one in and let her know when it arrived. I also subsequently sent an email to head office to complain to which I received an apology. I have since sent an email to follow up as we have not received any calls or contact regarding the missing bag and I have not received any response. I have also sent them a msg on their Facebook account regarding the matter. Is there anything else I can do? I have never know Paul's to have such terrible service but they have basically taken my money for something which I only partly received! Any help would be great! Kind regards Vicky

What outcome do you want? Full refund?0

Worth noting that although Paul's portray themselves as a touch above they are still very much the Greggs of French bakeries.0

It doe say the bag is complimentary so no monetary value.0

And if it has no monetary value the refund will be £0.000 -
I meant that the whole order could legally be returned for a full refund.ssparks2003 wrote: »And if it has no monetary value the refund will be £0.00
Even though the monetary value might be zero, what do you think the retailer would do if someone purchased a picnic set (complete with the cooler bag) then attempted to return the set for a refund but tried to hold on to the cooler?0 -
Yes it could but the OP is not returning the order. I think the order was picnic food which will have been consumed by now.0

And still no, the bag is of ZERO value and is complementary, it is a free gift, is is not part of the purchase. plus by now the sandwiches have curled up more that Aladdin's slippers0 -

Incorrect I'm afraid. That would only be the case if they were being given out for free with no consideration required.
As consideration is required, it forms part of the contract and they're in breach by not supplying it.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
