    Hi Bob, yes. As there are more than a few years under '75, pre April 15 qualifying service makes the (two year) point moot.

    Sorry to hijack this thread - but does anyone on here know how to calculate whether an HM Armed forces pension pot would exceed with £1million limit? My husband has to retire in 4 years' time and it would be good to know if his pension (after 39 years service!) is going to exceed the limit and tax will be payable.
