Or just stay at home and enjoy not having to work.
I can't stand the idea of hurrying around and wasting your holiday with trips.

Stop fudging the issue. You are the one who mentioned wages being on a par with China, Romania and Bulgaria. We all know that the pound has fallen against the euro. There's a big jump between that and being on a par with China or Romania.
You keep making such statements without backing them up. So again, what's your evidence? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I mentioned that with the pound falling, wages in the UK will be more competitive (in FX currency) so that the UK can compete with the likes of China or Romania.always_sunny wrote: »Absolutely, best chance for the UK really.
Once wages are as competitive as Bulgaria, Romania, China then it stands a chance.

Still earns more by working in the UK. Accrues a better pension. Enjoys better welfare benefits. For family people the decision may be more difficult.
As has been the case many times before. Exchange rates will move in the other direction. Might be better to simply hold £ for the time being.0
