Proms in the park 2017

Has anyone else applied for these this year and if so, have you heard anything yet?

Given we're just about 2 weeks away, I thought I would have heard either way by now (although, fully expecting it to be a no, given I've received a no in each of the last 5 years...)

  • Hi, yes I got an email today - didn't get tickets,
Hopefully you'll get a better result!
  • Thanks, just got it today as well, although it ended up in junk, so glad someone else spotted it!

I got the same response for the 6th year in a row now...

    Me three.
Applied and didn't get, not heartbroken though, it was going to be a long drive for us!

Got some extra one year and asked on here if anyone wanted them to be told "they'd rather stick pins in their eyes"
Such overwhelming gratitude for a free night out has stuck with me ever since.

Didn't get any either, i believe 45% was to be given to residents of Fermanagh and Omagh District council so I've queried if that happened.

does that mean they are doing it in different counties each year from now on to give us all a better opportunity of seeing it.

The first year it was in Titanic Quarter we left before the end (we had small children in tow), when we were leaving they were letting people in with no tickets, seemed they'd been doing it from ten o'clock so if you're local you can give that a try

I got tickets (I'm from Fermanagh/Omagh council area).
After I received the 'successful' email, I then had to pay £1.50 to ticketmaster to process the order for the tickets.
This had to be done by 30.07.17 if I remember correctly so I guess since then they have been reallocating 'unsold' tickets and they are now all gone.
