I use 2nd class stamps if I can to save money. I'm not sure how much I spend but I have had some nice prizes from postcard comps so it has been worthwhile. I think less people enter the postcard comps then the on-line ones...

i use first class, get them at a reduced price from costco, i have won about twice now from postal comps, just little things though
