Can I change jobs in the company?

I think you need to be cautious here. If you tell the employer that you won't work with him, that is perfect grounds for dismissal - yours! You do not tell your employer who you will work with. I see no reason why you are spending time correcting their mistakes. Let them correct their own mistakes. It isn't your job to do that, is it? So don't.0

Whilst I would love for that to be the case, my colleague seems to accept no responsibility for his mistakes and will not do anything to resolve them so it is left to me. I am not a confrontational person and will avoid it at all costs so I have to just take it on the chin. As I also answer the majority of phone calls, it is me that gets it in the neck from customers and he point blank refuses to speak to them
So you both do the same job so why not just concentrate on your own work and go at the time you should go home, if the new person has made any mistakes these will surely be picked up.0
