HS1 from Deal?

Hi, I have been lead to believe that it is possible to get from Deal to St Pancreas in about 45 minutes using HS1 but I cannot for the life of me find this option, all I am finding is the normal trains that take about 1.30-2.15? Does HS1 have a different site to check/book? Thanks

No, that's not possible (the fastest journeys from Ashford-London are 35 mins).

All the trains are shown on the journey planner on NationalRail.co.uk. Trains that terminate at St Pancras (all of which are "HS1") seem to be in the majority from Deal. There are two routes:

- via Dover & Ashford takes about 90 minutes (and uses the HS1 tracks from Ashford-London).

- via Chatham takes about 135 minutes (and used the HS1 tracks only from Ebbsfleet-London).

Thank you, that was what I was finding but not using trains much I didn't know if I was missing something!

Looking a bit further, there's a third route option, via Canterbury and Ashford, which is 1h40m.
