Not sure if i am even in the right forum, but me & my dh live together (obviously!) but before we married he live with another girl, who he has a dd with, well she hasnt lived here for nearly 7 years but her name is still on the mortgage but mine isnt, well anyway he is going to talk to her tongight bout getting her name off the mortgage but tbh think he is worried, what is the best way to go about it? bearing in mind, she left him & never told him where she was goign & took his dd with her & we had to fight for 3 years thru the court to find her & get access, any help would be greatly appreciated xxxx

his & hers, they lived in this house 6 months then she !!!!!!ed off, I have lived here for 6 years, married for 3 years Thanks

If she's agreeable then its relatively straight foreward.

He will need to remortgage the house to remove her name from the mortgage and have the deeds updated.

thats clapton, the problem is she isnt a very agreeable person!! it took 3 years to get acces to his daughter thru the courts, they tried mediaton for the mortgage but she was having none of it, is there anyway where we stand, ie its been nearly 7 years since she lived here? also why will he need to remortgage? Thanks
