    OP most (if not all) VTs have the caveat it must come back road-worthy. So unfortunately you'll need the repairs done either way, whether you part-ex it or return it to the finance company.
  • Well a decision has been made. I'm going to have mine fixed with a second hand ac compressor and a new belt then trade it in. Should hopefully only cost about £500 to sort it. Thank you all for the helpful advice especially regarding VT
