Biggest rise in house prices an hour out of London

Article in the Guardian positing that house prices in commuting distance of London are storming ahead of the capital:

I moved out to the wilds of south Surrey two or three years back, and certainly can see that house prices are increasing at a decent clip locally, while my rental portfolio in London has been flat for the past year or two.
We are just under an hour from Waterloo, and the new train franchise operator is promising a faster service with increased frequency in rush hour, which should also help to push prices up a bit faster

I also live just under an hour from Waterloo and although prices have increased a lot over the last couple of years it does seem to have slowed down now.0
