.....and do i have any rights with regard to the issue.
Basically, i rashly arranged to try a PT who works at the gym i go to, for a month before really knowing if i could commit the time. I paid for the month upfront, as is common with personal trainers.
After being unable to attend appointments, i cut my loses before i wasted too much time for myself or the PT, and said within days, that id had to reconsider and would he be able to reimburse me the money minus the cost of the classes that i cancelled at short notice.
I was aware of the inconvenience of cancelling at short notice, so obviously id expect to pay for the classes not taken, but cancelled at short notice. Which worked out to be about £60.
So all in all, im trying to get £160 back.
Its been 3 weeks now. Ive not pressed it excessively, texting about 3 times, but now enough is enough-he is clearly ignoring me. Im all for paying what is due, and even some sort of compensation for messing him around, as im that kind of person, but i cancelled within the first week-if i dont get the money back, ive basically just given this fella £160 for nothing.
Do i have any recourse on this? It was a direct payment made to the PT, and im given to understand their involvement with the gym is basically that they have to work there for a few hrs as `rent` for being able to use the premesis for their clients-so would approaching the bank make any difference?

Did you sign a contract, either with the PT or with the gym?0

So you basically started a one month 'trial' with the PT and didn't use it all. Now you want a refund?0

Paid for something and then didnt use it.
Why do you think you are due any money back?0 -
