Kia car purchase - advised to take finance instead of cash purchase!

Out of curiosity, does the 14 day window start from signing the finance agreement or from receiving the car? Unless it's a stock car I assume it's going to take weeks to build before it's delivered."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

I did the same and took PCP as the additional saving was more than the interest. Admittedly waited 6 months but didn't need to do that long, called up and paid it off over the phone. Really simple process with confirmation statements in the post the next day.0

I have been told 10 - 12 weeks delivery, and I understand that the finance deal is from the date of delivery. This is for an automatic 1.4 litre Rio 3. (yes I know the new 1.0 litre engine is better, but my wife won't drive a manual).I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Just out of interest, how much would a 12 month old one be? There's several 2017 models with less than 5,000 miles on Ebay from dealerships for £11,000 or less, a handful are £9999. Somehow I expect that is a few grand less than the new price less the dealer/manufacturer contributions. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Yes, but owning a brand new car from scratch is unbeatable, imho. Plus, you get the model, colour and extras that you want, not what someone else wanted.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
Try Carwow0

Second using Carwow website for new car purchases. They'll get quotes from all Kia dealers if you give specfics of what you want and can give large savings - presumably as they look to reach targets etc.0

I tried Carwow and they were very helpful, but my local dealer matched the best Carwow offer when I showed it to her. Some of the Carwow offers were hundreds of miles away, and there is a lot to be said for buying a new car from a local dealer.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -

There are, but worth doing to get a quote for local dealer to match if they've said they've already given their "lowest" offer.0
