Repairing kilner jars

I took my kilner jars apart to wash them & now I cannot get the wire things around the lids to keep them in place. Does anyone know of a site that might demonstrate this? It's nearly sloe gin time & I don't want to have to fork out for more kilner jars!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey zulubabe, if you don't have any luck, get on to Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear as it was his family that invented them

On a more serious note, sorry hun, I haven't got a clue. Good luck though!xXx Vanda xXx0
