I saw berrymeal flour in our local wholefood shop. Anyone know what it is and what it may be used for? Thanks

I googled and came up with this link (you need to scroll down a little - but it doesn't tell you anything about the product - seems to be a scottish produced flour possibly for bread making):
http://www.scottishproduce.co.uk/acatalog/Main_Shop_Bread_and_Baking_196.html
http://www.wordwebonline.com/en/WHOLEMEALFLOUR - it appears to be a type of wholemeal flour made using the entire 'wheat berry' - whatever that means!0 -
Thanks for that. I am going to email the scottiish company. Will let you know the outcome.Jasmine0

The most delicious rather 'nutty' flour, that can only be bought in Scotland. Not to be confused with Beremeal that is milled in Orkney, which is very fine and not nearly so nice.
I buy it in 8 kilo bags to take back South with me !0
