I'd have had the Snaktastics.... but I've come to the conclusion that while cheap crisps give you "a crisp" ... sometimes you simply can't beat the flavour of your favourites... which, aren't those. I wish they were.

Looks like a weekend for ladies who love a bit of wine before getting their sausage!

Used to drink that Perlenbacher years ago when Lidl first came to town. Will buy some for old times sake. Thanks dl.

Thanks DL, was disappointed to see the 5/10 but as you say when compared to rest it is not so bad at all. I think 6 bottles for £20 has got to be worth a punt.

From that report it seems that you can get a better Prosecco if you pay twice the Lidl price or get the best if you pay three times the Lidl price.

Personally I'm more interested in the beer for 50p per bottle

Chaos at local Lidl.
Prosecco sold out before all customers waiting got inside store.
One poor assistant left by empty pallet to explain to a lot of unhappy customers they had made a wasted trip.
Despite only 1 box per customers, store had received only 1 small pallet for the whole weekend.

Bad customer relations.

For those of you thinking of taking a trip to Lidl to get the weekend prosecco offer - don't bother.
Limited stock is just that - in my local store 1 small pallet.
Sold out before all customers who were queuing even got in the store - all grabbed by 8.01am.
Store assistant said it was the same at several local store so could well be nationwide.

A good humoured queue at our Lidl, we arrived at 7.59, joined the queue and got a box each - I'm guessing if you arrived after 8 you'd be disappointed.
A few boxes were returned to the pallet from people who were greedy and thought the one box per customer didn't apply to them, including one who thought his 8 year old daughter should count as a customer!:rotfl::rotfl:

Totally agree. Was looking forward to stocking up on this offer as it is my favourite prosecco.
Got there for 8 this morning - all gone.
Seems like it is the same all over the country. Pictures in the Daily Mirror showing long queues at many Lidl stores.
I was told they are getting more stock for tomorrow,but it will probably be pointless going.
