    Thank you all so much for your advice. It's been the worst two days of my life.

    Thought I'd pop back to let you all know, and others who may find themselves in similar situation, our mortgage was approved (pending valuation etc). By some small miracle we haven't lost our house!

    Just in response to this.

    I raised a dispute with all three credit agencies to ensure it would be removed from all.

    Also, my family member contacted Studio to report the fraud themselves and to inform them that I knew nothing about it. Studio told my family member it would be investigated and all three credit agencies would be contacted with the information. This should make it a pretty straight forward case.
