Is there any significant difference between the Aircoach and Translink buses going to Dublin airport, I'm guessing a bus is a bus is a bus?

The Translink ones have power sockets, Airbus don't. Both have free WiFi. Some of the Translink ones are express, some have stops (Sprucefield, etc.) so a bit slower, all the Airbus ones are non-stop. For pick-up in Dublin at least Translink only has one bus stop (Terminal 1), Airbus stops at both terminals. That's maybe a minor thing but I raced off a flight recently to the Terminal 2 Airbus stop and caught it, when we got to the Terminal 1 stop a girl from the same flight was there and asked the driver if he would wait for her boyfriend, he said no.0

Personally I find the air coach slightly better as it has no stops between Belfast and the Airport. Some of the translinks stop at every hole in the hedge on the way. Comfort wise they're about the same.
The T2 bus stop is handy. It drops off right outside the check-in hall and picks up just across the road (exit customs, across the internal bridge and down the escalator on the left). Perfect if you're long haul or flying EI (or both)Timmay!0 -
Thanks.
I'll actually be going to a hotel on a shuttle bus when I get to Dublin and it looks easy to reach from both T1 and T2.
I guess I'll try for Translink on the express as it is £2 cheaper!0
